Isn't it weird that songs just kinda ... fade out instead of having an ending? And we've all accepted it. Imagine if games did it: just as they hit their stride, right in the middle of the core loop.... fade to black and boom back to desktop - yer done

@underflowR I think it depends on how satisfied the politicians are with life as it is now, and whether they can maintain the new authoritarian normal they've claimed in the name of public health. And, of course, whether they'll be elected again by continuing this.

Maybe this is just late night anxiety giving me irrational thoughts, but is anyone else afraid that life will never go back to normal and people in the future will be talking about “that poor generation that lived their entire lives in a pandemic”?

@morganjaffit I completely agree with the saying. Even PUBG/H1Z1 wasn't a new "idea", it only became worth something when they worked hard with Unreal and got it working.
Execution is 9/10ths of a success. But still, a good idea is like a good foundation. You can't polish a turd, after all.

@smh If the law comes out and says I have to do it, I'll do it. But the reasoning behind it doesn't seem to follow the science? Or at least, not all of the science? Seems governments just want to be shown to be "doing something". It's all oddly political instead of scientific.
