When I first heard about Bitcoin, I thought it was impossible and then I looked into it and it was brilliant. —Jeff Garzik Proud to be among the first 10 graduands of @btc_dada. We came, we mined the knowledge, and now we conquered. #Bitcoin #BTCDada #BTC

Cohort 10 began with 150 students. 90 sat for the exams, and 70 met the pass mark. Today, we celebrate the new plebs⚡️. Over the past 8 weeks, this cohort committed to a rigorous learning journey that required consistency, discipline, and a willingness to engage with concepts that are not always easy to grasp. This was not passive participation, it demanded focus, late nights, active learning, and the courage to step into unfamiliar territory. What these students have achieved goes beyond passing an exam. They now hold a deeper understanding of Bitcoin, a stronger awareness of financial systems, and a foundation that positions them to engage more meaningfully with the future of money. We are especially proud to recognize our Top 10 students, who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the program. Representing Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, and Zambia, they reflect both the strength and diversity of this cohort. Cohort 10 is a clear reminder of what happens when women are given access to knowledge and choose to fully commit to it. The results are not just visible, they are impactful. We celebrate this milestone, and we look forward to what comes next. Zyll Terryline, @Angel_of_Good, @BlessingAmala_M, Chikondi Nanyangwe, Eeman Yusuf, @Julimarco7, Marianne Panchanya, @WachenjeNS, @q_uwero and @steppepulse Congratulations once more to cohort 10! #impact #cohort10 #womeninfinance #bitcoin #bitcoindada

@tosinolaseinde Was having this discussion with a friend this evening. That millions of naira you are using to organize conferences and town hall meetings. Use it for impact. Fund skills, pay school fees of indigent gals, organize health check ups and cancer screenings.

Congratulations to Winnie @devgitotox, one of our ABC-DADA Fellows, on securing this well-deserved grant! Through her work as a Tanzanian developer focused on wallet upgrades, transaction handling, and testing tools, Winnie is strengthening Bitcoin Core and helping ensure that open money is built by—and for—the people it serves. We’re incredibly proud of you, Winnie, and excited to see what you continue to build. #buidl #femaledevs #bitcoindev

Tonight, over 100 Dadas logged in from across the continent. Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, South Africa. And for the first time, Mozambique & Cameroon 🇨🇲 🇲🇿!!!!!!! Two new countries added to the dadachain!!! Registrations crushed expectations. But maybe we shouldn't be shocked. When you demystify a broken system, women show up. This tenth cohort proves it—ten times watching sisters trade uncertainty for clarity. @marcelorraine challenged: "Write your REAL why. The truth beneath curiosity that made you click despite everything. That “why” carries you through complexity, doubts, and temptation." To the new Dadas: It won't feel big tomorrow. Wait for it. Economic storms hit, you're ready. People ask about money, you explain. Opportunities appear, you see them. Bitcoin Dada rewrites trajectories. African women who GRASP Bitcoin (deeply) protect generations. Cohort 10: One down. Many to go. 🚀 #bitcoineducation

Cohort 10 is officially ready to go. 🎉 All accepted applicants should have received their emails by now. Please check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case). If you didn’t get in this time, don’t be discouraged—there will be more opportunities to join in future cohorts. We’d also like to address something that continues to come up during our application process. For Cohort 10, we received over 50 applications from men. While we truly appreciate the interest and enthusiasm to learn about Bitcoin, Bitcoin Dada remains a women-focused initiative. At this time, we’re unable to extend invitations beyond that scope. That said, there are many excellent, inclusive Bitcoin communities that welcome learners of all genders. We highly recommend exploring: @afribitcoiners @BitKwaofficial @BitEduhub @cracktheorange @DigiOats @thecore21m @PrideBitcoin Thank you to everyone who applied, supported, and continues to believe in the work we’re doing. Onward to Cohort 10 🚀

@btc_dada Grateful to be selected as a fellow for #ABC2025. I learnt a lot from conversations on women in Bitcoin, overcoming impostor syndrome & showing up boldly. The panels inspired me to be more intentional in the ecosystem. Can’t wait to pass on this knowledge and show proof of work.

A week after the conference, we couldn’t be prouder of our involvement at the Africa Bitcoin Conference 🇲🇺. This year was monumental for us. Through the ABC partnership, we were able to fly in 13 female fellows representing five African countries (Kenya, Zambia, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Ghana). The cohort included developers, community builders, educators and enthusiasts — many of whom would not have had access to such an opportunity without this partnership. The fellows participated in carefully curated workshops hosted by various organizations, engaged in meaningful networking sessions, and attended talks by accomplished Bitcoiners — many of whom they had previously only encountered online. For several of them, this marked their first opportunity to experience the global Bitcoin ecosystem in person. The highlight of the week was the Women in Building workshop, a space that brought together both women and men to engage in honest conversations about the realities and complexities of navigating a male-dominated field. It was a powerful and necessary dialogue rooted in lived experience, collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking. We were honored to be joined by exceptional leaders including @IamMissNabs , Director at @AfroBitcoinOrg ; @DecentraSuze , Co-founder of @bitcoinpolicyuk ; @IamWhiteSarah , General Manager at @afribitcoiners ; and @amizi , Founder of @waye_dev .Their insights made the session both grounding and transformative. We are equally grateful to the men who showed up, some out of curiosity, others in solidarity and who actively engaged with the ideas and solutions shared on how to support and grow female participation in Bitcoin across their respective jurisdictions. Special appreciation goes to @BTCsessions , @lucasdcf @bernard_parah , and @megasley @briimhd for their presence and support. Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude to our founder @marcelorraine for being the bridge, and to @Farida_N for believing in the value of women as builders, leaders, and contributors to the Bitcoin ecosystem. This experience reaffirmed why this work matters and why it must continue. #bitcoin #ABC2025 #womeninbitcoin #Dada

Milk brands must now strategize to gain back the market share cos other brands are moving ahead. See now; - Milo 3in1 with milk - Nescafe 3in1 with milk - Golden Morn now with milk as well. So you can practically now buy them without a sachet od milk.
