@jrnaib2 @Dcypherblinkz A greedy desperado that has been running up and down since 1993.
You aren't far from the truth

@Dcypherblinkz The political permutation Peter Obi fails to acknowledge! Desperado.

@TouchlineX @marca If true, that’s worrying 😬 Kylian Mbappé needs harmony with Real Madrid—talent alone won’t carry the team.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Kylian Mbappé has slowly been distancing himself from his Real Madrid teammates.
There are rumors of his attitude not going down well with some players and the coaching staff.

@DemolaRewaju His child knows the truth, he has saved himself embarrassment and join APC.

What people envy about you is how you understand them best. Praise can be faked but not envy; envy is honest.
Who doesn’t want to be 79 years old - still sound in mind and body, leading with quiet dignity, surviving betrayals, withstanding attacks and ready to fight forward for Nigeria.
Still standing. Still solid.
They envy your quiet dignity they call it arrogance;
You did them favours and never even told us;
Their envy reveals what they secretly wish they can have the discipline to build, and what they quietly fear you might achieve long before they do.
We welcome their envy - they may eventually be ok (or not) but they will never be AA.

President Tinubu Directs Ex-Governor Ayade to Step Down from 2027 Senate Race
Former Governor of Cross River Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, has yielded to a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to withdraw his ambition for the Cross River North Senatorial District seat in the 2027 general elections.
In an emotional statement released on Monday, Ayade disclosed that he was recently invited to Abuja for a high-level national consultation with the Presidency. Following the meeting, it became evident that the President wanted him to shelve his senatorial bid.
“I yield to his request even as I pour tears of ill treatment and agony,” Ayade said.
Ayade Lists Contributions, Appeals for Review. The former governor, who served two terms as governor and was a senator before that, recounted his significant contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South region.
He noted that he was the first APC governor in the South-South and played a foundational role in building the party’s structure in Cross River State. During the 2023 presidential election, he delivered nearly 40,000 votes above the PDP’s performance in the state a historic feat.
Ayade also reminded President Tinubu of his early support, stating that he was the first APC governor to push for Tinubu to be given the right of first refusal as the party’s 2023 presidential candidate. He popularized the slogan: “If Tinubu Can Fix Lagos, Tinubu Can Fix Nigeria.”
Despite these efforts, Ayade said he has been sidelined for over three years without any federal appointment. He is, however, currently running a free transportation scheme as part of his campaign support for the President’s expected 2027 re-election bid.
He appealed to the President to revisit the order, arguing that his federal constituency has only enjoyed senatorial representation for eight years, while his main opponent has had 20 years. Granting the opponent another term, he said, would amount to a fourth term in the National Assembly.

@FabrizioRomano 🚨 Giuseppe Marotta on Alessandro Bastoni: Interest is there, but nothing serious. Player wants to stay, club is happy—case closed for now.

English

🚨 Inter president Marotta on Bastoni’s future: “I won’t deny there is interest from Barcelona, but it is still very superficial and not concrete”.
“As we’ve always said, a player leaves only if he expresses the desire to go. At the moment, he is our player, he wants to stay and we are happy with him”.

@FabrizioRomano @_pauljoyce Work never stops at the top, next season starts now.
Time to rebuild, refocus, and come back stronger.

🚨 Virgil van Dijk: “There will be a lot of work that has to be done going into next season”.
“When I am back from the World Cup, I will go into it. But there is a lot of work to do be done behind the scenes…”, says via @_pauljoyce.

@TouchlineX Aggression on max.
Gavi plays on the edge every game, passion is elite, but discipline needs work.

@DrJoeAbah It would have been easy for APC to infliterate NNPP if Kwankwaso had remained there and Obi joined him, again, INEC may likely frustrate Obi for registering his own party.

English

I am completely naive about these matters, but why do people with large followings not form their own political parties modelled on their own ideology? | Kwankwaso, Obi obtain NDC membership cards – Daily Trust dailytrust.com/just-in-kwankw…
English

@U_Rochas You have backed out of presidential ambitions 2027
English

The most troubling ticket in Nigeria’s political history is the one between PO and RMK. These two individuals appear driven by strong religious leanings, one perceived as pushing Christian dominance, the other as leaning toward Muslim dominance. That makes the ticket deeply concerning and not something that should be encouraged.
As for BAT, I would rather he completes his remaining four years, so that the North can present a more credible and balanced ticket in 2031, not this kind of arrangement, which feels risky.
We should start educating people about the implications of this.
English

@FabrizioRomano Hard truth.
Álvaro Arbeloa calling it out—at Real Madrid talent isn’t enough, it’s about effort, identity, and full commitment.

English

@iamHSDickson I pray you will not act Lamidi apapa or Julius Abure. Know that if Peter Obi wins, head or tail you will be the beneficiary and Nigeria will notify forget your platform.

English

Yesterday, it was a pleasure and an honour to receive my brothers and respected political figures in Nigeria, Their Excellencies, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, CON, and Peter Obi, CON, into the NDC.
We warmly welcome them and trust that they will join us in building a formidable, ideologically driven party for generations to come — one that embodies the true spirit of selfless service to the people.
Congratulations to them.
We also extend our gratitude to all Nigerians for their continued support and prayers.
