All of this being done in Unreal is slightly concerning though. But I doubt they’ll drop hedgehog engine since so much work and money went into it. Hopefully this technology can be translated into HE2.

Interesting. This shader solution that they have here is really neat. I’m sure it’s a way of being able to quickly animate deformation without a massive amount of rigging. I will admit it’s a little TOO much at times. But these still are quite clean.

Just finished Shadow Generations, and honestly it was peak modern Sonic. From a gameplay standpoint, it really takes the mechanics and physics that were established in Frontiers and takes them to the next level. Really fun level design and movement!
