@bluwolfblitz Seems like they use UE5 to prototype since it's so feature rich, then they can recreate it in their engine more fit for purpose

Interesting.
This shader solution that they have here is really neat. I’m sure it’s a way of being able to quickly animate deformation without a massive amount of rigging.
I will admit it’s a little TOO much at times. But these still are quite clean.

@longearedfox @ItsLazBoi I'm hoping the Shadow Gens team gets absorbed by the larger Sonic Team since they were previously on the Olympics games which are no longer being developed.

@ItsLazBoi That does suck, but I’m sure the team that is working on the next mainline game has probably played Shadow Generations and will apply what they learn from the other team’s work to their game :)
