Open letter to mr @sowore Sir, I’ve been dragging MTN FiberX for days now and I feel like this needs more attention. They basically sold us a system with “flexibility” they be like start with 50mbps at ₦25k, then after the first month you can downgrade to 20mbps at ₦15k. That was part of the whole appeal. Now out of nowhere, they’ve increased 50mbps to ₦30k and 20mbps to ₦22.5k. Fine, prices can change. But the real issue is they’ve now blocked downgrade completely. You either stay on 50mbps or above, or you leave the service entirely. How does that even make sense for a service that was marketed as flexible? No proper explanation, no transparency… just sudden policy changes that favour only the company. Honestly, it feels like customers are being cornered into paying more with no option to scale down. This one needs proper attention because it’s not just about price increase anymore, it’s about restricting user choice after onboarding people with a different promise.
