It’s funny to see francispouliot speculating on Bitcoin use cases by maintaining most off-chain transactions and maybe a send/receive button. Bitcoin is really far to be mature….

The shitcoin ecosystem is facing an existential crisis. The only 2 real use-cases for the web3 ended up being stablecoins and crypto lending. Both of these can be implemented with Bitcoin-native systems without unsecure rube-goldberg machines, ponzi tokens, ICOs and blockchains interconnected with "smart contracts" that depend on dubious "tokenomic engineering" for their security models. As these systems collapse and fail one after the other, the decentralization theater is being exposed for what it is: smoke and mirrors. The reckoning is near.

Dear X Community, especially Universal builders & holders, With a heavy heart but complete resolve, today marks my permanent exit. After years of relentless building — late nights, endless debugging, and unwavering belief in what Universal could become — I am stepping away from the Universal BRC-20 Protocol and the entire Bitcoin space. I will not return. As the initiator and lead developer, I could not let the protocol fade. I am completing the full, irrevocable handover to @Laz1m0v (co-founder) and his team: every key, server, repo, and responsibility.
