Dandenong District CA president Mick Hawking has bowed out after 18 years as president. He's been on the committee since 1995-96 and was vice-president for eight years. All this after a fine career as a fast bowler; he was a champion on and off the ground. Thank you, mighty Mick.

Springvale South has won the Turf 1 premiership, defeating Buckley Ridges by six wickets. Blade Baxter takes home the Fleming Medal.
