Calling someone a prostitute and accusing them of fraud involving ₦5 million is not a joke or casual statement these are very serious allegations that can damage a person’s reputation. You keep saying “let the courts decide,” and that’s fine. But before it even gets there, there is a simple question that needs answering: where is your evidence? Where are the receipts, the transactions, or any verifiable proof to support your claims? Because in a real legal setting, statements alone are not enough. Allegations must be backed by clear and credible evidence not assumptions, not opinions, and definitely not social media narratives. It’s also important to understand that this is not one - sided. If you believe you have a case, you have every right to pursue it. However, the same applies to the other party. If someone is publicly accused of being a prostitute or a fraudster without proof, that person also has the right to take legal action for defamation. And in situations like that, if the person making the accusations fails to prove them in court, the consequences can be serious including financial damages, a public apology, and covering legal costs. Social media is not a courtroom, and it should not be used as a place to make heavy accusations without accountability. Words carry weight, and once they are put out in public, they come with responsibility. So yes, let the courts decide if it comes to that. But when that time comes, it won’t be about who talks more it will be about who can actually prove what they are saying. And finally, if you are so confident in your claims, you must be ready to present clear proof against TACHA in court otherwise, you risk serious legal consequences, including penalties that could extend as far as fines or even imprisonment.
