Rough rough doodle. I want to figure out drawing dirty soles, specifically that fine, subtle "dusting" guys get when they walk around with no shoes in the summer. I find it very erotic. 🥴🫠

@cbl_art It sounds self-centered when said out loud, but art should primarily aim to appease oneself. It's simply not healthy to obsess over the reception of strangers. Criticism excluded of course, genuine feedback is worthy of acknowledgment.

@BlueHulkhog Exactly! Like when you're placing all your motivation on the approval of others it becomes a hindrance to your growth and complaining about views is a surefire way to turn people away cuz you come across as a clout chaser rather than someone doing it for genuine enjoyment

It's completely valid to want views and engagement but it should never be the sole reason you make art. I started back in 2018 basically posting for myself with an audience of a handful of people and I think people stuck around for my personality cuz my art was ass (imo) lol
