Sometimes I browse through my followers just to kick the tires and see what’s what, and there are people with hypodermic needles sticking out of their bodies and I think to myself, "Yeah, that seems about right."

@j_fmu YEAAH, it's the best. The perspective/mindset shift is the main appeal of stuff like this for me, "this is what it would be like to be seen and treated like a sugar ant" 🐜🖤

@zlozilla 100%. Some of my fav stories/works are about the almost IMMEDIATE “…you’re like a bug” mindset shift.

I like the deindividuation aspect of shrinking. You're depersonified, reduced to a somewhat-mobile speck no different from any other somewhat-mobile speck. You, and anything capable of recognizing you/your individuality is at the bottom of the food chain. You're food for bugs. 🔍

And obviously shedding your identity starts with shedding your clothes. That's why I don't care for scenarios where someone gets shrunk and their clothes shrink too. 👕🧦👖

I don't care much for dialogue and teasing, the shrunken guy should just go "AAH OH GODD OH GODD THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING NO NOO AAH AHH" and the giant should go ":)"
