One thing that’s for certain from this playoff run. The Blue Jays are the biggest team in Major League Baseball and it’s not particularly close. Baseball runs through Toronto.

This argument is so annoying. The Toronto Blue Jays have averaged like 89+ wins 3 of the last 4 years. They finally put it together in the playoffs for once but pretending this team hasn’t consistently been good is very wrong.

@JohnnyGiunta_ I mean nobody expected last yr. They were an time outlier team. Now they're playing at their expected level. They can still win 82-84 games though.

@JDGilroy Actually I do. Its incredibly expensive to insure huge contracts like that & the premiums are insane. There’s a very good chance his contract isn’t covered. Especially for someone who hadn’t had much injury history before & a team with deep pockets that can afford to eat the deal

In regard to Valenzuela it was awesome he had that run where he was the best hitter on the team however his career numbers show he won’t give you much as a hitter. One of the best defensive catchers I’ve seen which rocks. Awesome backups just sucks Kirk has been equally as bad
