@KenYurufuwaNBA And when I challenged what you said makes him a “Unquestionably very good point guard” you said he doesn’t need to do any of those things anyway because other players on the roster can…?
English

@KenYurufuwaNBA No duh they’re separate questions that’s what I just said? But you’re doing this weird quote tweet gotcha thing instead of just replying so I understand how it gets hard to follow along

Those are separate questions. I said he’s a good PG, not that his contract is perfect. And judging a PG without considering the role his roster requires makes little sense.

@KenYurufuwaNBA Yeah dude your original post was about him being objectively a good point guard…? Not how he fits with the roster? Also the contract factors in when you talk about fit because it hinders what else you can do, and the player you’re describing is NOT a 35M player

With Barnes, Kawhi and Barrett handling so much creation, we don’t need a traditional floor general. IQ’s shooting, off-ball play and secondary creation fit this roster.

@KenYurufuwaNBA And yeah when Jak was healthy and playing he was a pretty good pnr handler, I think that was a lot to do with Jak as he was abhorrent when Jak didn’t play. He’s pretty solid off the ball, I just don’t see how this is what you want in a point guard
English

@KenYurufuwaNBA Penetration is also probably up there as one of the worst parts of his game so bringing that up as a positive is kinda nuts but that’s alright
English

Ball security, pace, pick-and-roll play, paint penetration, and the ability to play both on and off the ball, etc. I don’t consider him an elite floor general, but those qualities, combined with his shooting, make him a good PG.

@KenYurufuwaNBA Can you rhyme off some aspects of his game that make him unquestionably a good point guard? Other than shooting the ball of course
English

@KenYurufuwaNBA Ball security is funny because he just does the safest thing possible all the time, not sure if that’s a total positive from a lead guard, definitely disagree abt the pace aswell, lack of feel for what pace the game needs showed in poor shot selection in transition

@BlueJaysFunk @Buster_ESPN Agreed.
Move Ernie to SS
Bring McAdoo up to play 2B and see what he's got.
We still have Kasevich close to majors as well.
