Almost everyone who tries to replicate Silicon Valley culture outside of SF copies the wrong things (overhyped fundraising, cushy benefits, signal vs. substance). Met the folks behind the Brickyard (@BrickyardVC) in Chattanooga last week and it's the best attempt I've seen yet. Every founder to commits to 80 hour weeks, zero distractions, daily workouts on-site, and a relentless quest for product / market fit. I suspect it will work quite well.
