BREAKING: @MT_WBB head coach Rick Insell will retire at the end of the season following 21 years with the Lady Raiders, according to @MTAthletics. Over two decades at Middle Tennessee, Insell became the winningest coach in program history, notching 505 wins, 10 conference championships and making 12 NCAA Tournament appearances. The nine-time hall of famer will coach the Lady Raiders through their @WomensNIT run, which begins next week. Middle Tennessee’s series win over Kennesaw State is more impressive than people think. KSU is 8-8 after playing the No. 33 OOC SOS, but has an RPI of 71. They came into the series 7-0 against Mid-Majors before MTSU gave them their first two losses.
