Who is going to want to coach this team knowing that the guy who hired you is probably out in (after) your first season.

There is no question about it. He shouldn’t have had a chance this season. @ChrisMassaroAD has to fire @MTCoachNick I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but he is a loser as a coach. Fire McD tomorrow.

McDevitt is 98-71 in years 4 through 8 after being 24-62 in years 1 through 3. For a total of 122-133. You can’t go into year 9 with a sub-.500 coach. He’s had his opportunities. Sure the last 5 years have been better, but how could they have been any worse than those first 3? I still don’t give him a pass for those years. And what he’s done since then isn’t enough to change the calculus. Program needs a fresh start with a coach who will embrace the full job description. This job demands unrelenting grind and salesmanship. He hasn’t delivered
