You ever comm an artist that has a strict “don’t contact me for updates” policy but you haven’t heard from them for like…a month or so?

@FrettyJay Oh, yeah. I think it's just a mini guide for time management for those who need to schedule more time to make YouTube videos, tiktok clips and shorts. Streaming 3 hrs vs 8 just means more time to be able expand their content. 🩷 Stream all you like if you're happy.

Why is it so important for streamers to stream no more than 3 hours? If you’re having fun and feeling fine, I don’t see what is the problem.

@ThatoneJosie Oh, don't get me wrong.. I will always be on the side of sharing the name of bad artists. But it can be tough finding the line between warning people and starting drama, so I respect your choice. 🙏

I just gave my first ever 1⭐️ review on Vgen and it pains me… I hate to do this but if an artist not only changes essential parts of a character like: Outfit, body parts, skin tone Then refuses to do changes I have to start threatening a refund and THEN they start lying to me after I’m fed up… Sorry for the Vent but I’m so done with twitter artists :|

@Zemyris When someone doesn't say thank you? Yeah, that's absolutely lame. That isn't a reflection of the raider though! Nothing to beat yourself up over! However, acting as if you're owed being interacted further with as a result of the raid? That isn't the ticket.

Why should anyone be friends with or follow anyone back simply because they raided or gifted subs? If you're having trouble making friends, treating people as transactions isn't the way to go. Get to know people. Don't do anything with the expectation that you're owed.

I really hope you realize DMs are not that deep…. Especially on a basic platform. I promise you. This will be my last response to this.

Apparently now… asking to get to know someone in DMs is creepy… apparently to make friends you’re supposed to just like all their posts… say nothing… and hope… Guys. I’m getting real tired of society. We need to communicate. And if we don’t… we’re so screwed… If you’re looking for friends. Expect people to ask to get to know you…. Everyone’s a stranger at some point… and I’m tired of acting like a DM request is supposed to be this sexual thing. You can if your uncomfortable just say “hey I don’t warm up that fast” As someone who doesn’t warm up fast. And has consistently spent the last year trying to make just some friends inside of the vtuber sphere. People are so fake. And just use friends as a buzzword to get engagement… it’s tiring. And the lack of empathy is depressing. Where are the friends. The late night discord calls that we used to sit on forever. What the hell happened.

@KittenTayVT I think sometimes it's okay to realize that you're someone who's actions online are more of an exception, whereas most other people just won't respond to a certain thing and to not be so upset when you're met with the reality of the nature of your behavior in online private dms

@Zemyris I never even said at all time and all the time on demand. You can answer messages at any time and in your leisure time… Yes. Empathy needs to absolutely be more in account. You don’t have to answer any messages in any time you don’t want to.

@KittenTayVT Sure. Being creepy is one thing but people aren't NPCs we can demand time & energy from in private dms. As if they should just be available to provide instant comfort & late night chats on demand. There are levels to this & we should have more empathy to others time and comfort.

I literally said creeps being creeps is one thing but people saying “hey how are you, would you like to chat,” is not creepy. So sorry. And I have had an influx of messages over time. I’ve gotten replies from bigger creators that I’m sure get massive influx in their DMs. Truly. It’s just kindness.

I’m not here to be a follower of everyone. I’m here to be a friend. This line of thinking is how people who want only followers think. So no. Some of my greatest friends I’ve built the way I have. I’ll keep being me. I made this post out of pure frustration with the way the world has been going.

@KittenTayVT You're completely dodging the actual discussion and going full "anyone can DM me anything at any time and it's always sweet" type stuff. That's not how it works for most people online, especially creators who get any real volume of messages.

What? No. People can message me. To literally tell me they pooped today if they want. What’s wrong with you….. They can tell me that they smiled. They can tell me they baked a cookie. They can tell me they just thought of me today. No. These requirements do not apply to messages. The thought is all that matters to a message. Thanks.

@KittenTayVT What I'm trying to convey is the reason you get the experiences you receive. If you want things to change, you have to acknowledge facts. People do not like unsolicited dms from people they dont know and they don't want to play 20 questions in private. Engage publicly first.

@KittenTayVT If you want better experiences, before sending private dms look at it from a standpoint of have I ever talked to them in public, do I need anything specific from them, do I have something important to tell them. If not hard stop, and find a public post to engage.
