An incredible find unveiled from Roman Scotland. This altar was unearthed in the most northerly Temple of Mithras in the empire, located near modern Edinburgh. Its depiction of the unconquered sun god was lit from behind, giving the deity a fiery glow in the gloomy temple. 🔥

In 45 years on Wall Street, I've never seen anything like this. Sam Altman just convinced 3 of the world's smartest investors to fund his losses. $110 billion. But ZERO profit in sight. The largest private funding round in history. Let me explain why this is borderline criminal & what you have to understand as an investor: Amazon. Nvidia. SoftBank. 3 of the world's most sophisticated investors just handed OpenAI $110 billion at an $840 billion valuation. That's more than double the $40 billion OpenAI raised last year. For context: all US venture capital combined invested $170 billion into American startups in all of 2023. Altman just raised 65% of that. Alone. In one round. And the company STILL isn't profitable. Let's look at the actual numbers: OpenAI burned $8 billion in 2025. They project burning $17 billion in 2026. $35 billion in 2027. $47 billion in 2028. Cumulative losses before any projected path to profitability: over $115 billion. Meanwhile, Amazon's $50 billion comes with strings attached. $35 billion is contingent on OpenAI either achieving AGI or completing its IPO by year end. Read that again. $35 billion is conditioned on ACHIEVING AGI. They're literally writing checks against a scientific breakthrough that may not happen on any predictable timeline. This is what peak cycle financing looks like. The circular logic every investor should understand: Amazon invests $50 billion in OpenAI. OpenAI commits to spending $100 billion on Amazon Web Services. Nvidia invests $30 billion. OpenAI commits to buying 3 gigawatts of Nvidia compute. These aren't arms-length investments. They're vendor financing dressed up as venture capital. Amazon and Nvidia are essentially paying OpenAI to buy their own products. The $840 billion valuation prices in a future that doesn't exist yet. At $13 billion in 2025 revenue, that's 65x revenue. Even in 2021 - the most speculative bubble in recent tech history - Snowflake peaked at 50-80x revenue. And Snowflake was actually profitable. J.P. Morgan calculates that the AI industry needs $650 billion in annual revenue just to generate a 10% return on total infrastructure buildout. The entire industry currently generates a fraction of that. I've seen cycles my entire 45-year career. The 1980s defense build-up. The dot-com bubble. The 2008 mortgage machine. The pattern is always the same: When the biggest players start financing each other's growth through circular investment structures, you're not witnessing a revolution... You're watching the LAST PHASE of a credit cycle. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said OpenAI is going to be "one of the very big winners long term." Maybe. But $840 billion assumes they've already won. Stock prices follow earnings. Always have. Always will. And right now, OpenAI's earnings are deeply, structurally, massively negative. The IPO is coming. The hype will peak. And the question every serious investor needs to answer is simple: At what price does this actually make sense? Sam Altman doesn’t know either - he just keeps raising money faster than he can burn it. This can’t end well.

Oggi abbiamo evitato la morte della democrazia. Lo abbiamo fatto fisicamente perché dentro la Camera possono entrare tutte le idee del mondo, ma non possono entrare i nazisti e i neonazisti.

Stop watching short-form videos. Meta-analysis of ~100k people shows how it is associated with decreased cognition and increased stress + anxiety. I know this is correlation, not causation but ask yourself - do you feel great after a session of consuming reels/shorts?

When I used to be depressed and anxious all the time, I tried mindfulness concepts that taught me to “watch my thoughts” and detach myself from them. This didn’t do any harm, but it certainly didn’t help, because the bad thoughts were still there. This approach ignores the root cause of bad thoughts, which, in many cases, is poor health. Improving my digestion made it so that I didn’t have to have to do any mindfulness practices or hacks, because my thoughts became pleasant and vibrant naturally, just like they should for a healthy person.

I don’t care or plan to make money from music, ever. I wouldn’t care at all if I died and never made a cent. However, trying to make the music I know im capable of making, making something that I think is really good (which I haven’t done yet) and trying to grow an audience is such a fun project. That’s enough for me, and it will keep me going for life.

👉europarl.europa.eu/committees/it/…

4-month update: it’s been almost four months since I started drinking 7 quarts of goat milk per day, which is almost 5000 cals per day. Before that, I had been drinking 5 quarts per day for about two years. So I increased by two quarts daily, which is +1,300 calories I increased my milk intake in May for several reasons: 1) my ferritin and folate were getting low and I wanted to increase, 2) more stool bulk, because whole milk is great for stool bulk. When I did the increase, I was at 184 pounds (6 ft tall). I haven’t done new blood tests yet so I’m not sure about the ferritin and folate, but my digestion has definitely improved since the increase. My bowel movements are better than they were before. I also sleep better and have a better mood. I’m currently at 195 pounds, so have gained ten pounds during this time period. Hopefully I’ve plateaued. Even though I’m noticeably thicker than before, I don’t think my body looks unhealthy or fat. My face is a bit thicker, and my belly has a little more pudge than before. My waistline is 33 inches, which is healthy for a 6 foot guy. All my lifts have increased too, so I’m sure I’ve put on muscle along with fat. Overall I’m happy with where I’m at and I’m gonna continue drinking 7 quarts per day. I love milk and I love losing all my hard-earned wages to milk addiction. Now I just need to burp and I’ll be home free.
Ty Guy@brainenergy4me

It’s been two weeks since I bumped from 5 to 6 quarts of milk per day, and one week since I bumped from 6 to 7 quarts per day, and I have not gained any weight yet—maybe a pound. Haven’t had to loosen my belt any notches yet either. Waiting for it to happen.

So many male Karens trying to get disgusting public school teacher people fired for saying things they find offensive about Charlie Kirk's horrific assassination. Waste of time. Dudes - dial down your estrogen and if you don't want trannies diddling your kids in public schools make a financial sacrifice and have your wives school your kids at home. Yes - stand up to your wives and tell them to put their "careers" on hold. I did, even as hers was more profitable than mine. Man up or shut up. I bet you are afraid to be a man in your family. YOU are the problem. Oh but OMG I need my boat and all that crap. OK your kids may end up gay and hate you and shoot people. Idiots. Enjoy your boat. Many of us have very little beyond the basics because we have had a single income household believing that the mother should be responsible for imputing the values and intellect of the parents upon the children. How radical - only the norm for 5,000 or whatever years. Get out of public schools, end the "career" of your wife, have her educate your children according to your (hopefully traditional) values. You will not be able to afford that stunning house and everything else you think you deserve, but you will at least have a chance (not guaranteed) that your offspring will not be complete idiots who hate your guts after taking $200K from you to study absurd things and have 100 piercings and hate your guts. And be lesbians.
