@JamesDmichael That makes sense. At the same time, I’ve seen authors get mixed results depending on how the marketing is approached. Curious, what kind of strategy are you thinking of going with?

I have decided to hire a marketer to help sell my book After doing some research, spending a little bit of money to ensure it has its optimum reach makes sense. I honestly believe my book is fantastic. This belief alone should justify getting as many eyes on it as possible.

Being an indie author isn’t just coming up with a plot and writing a book. We’re out here running a whole business by ourselves, so give yourself a pat on the back.

If you didn't write today, don't be too hard on yourself! It is perfect okay to take a day off and get back to it tomorrow. You're doing great!

@SDDonovan But at the same time, don't let your emotions get in the way of you publishing. It is NEVER going to be perfect. Don't let your twentieth edit turn into your thirty-fourth just because you 'want to be sure you got everything'. Sometimes you just need to publish it. 😎👍

Writing community, don't rush to publish your book. Make sure it's edited and polished the best it can be before releasing it. Mass releasing novels is usually not the way to do it. Release gold to the world.

Being tired doesn’t mean you’re off track. A lot of writers are exhausted not because they’re failing— but because they’re building something no one can see yet. If you’re in that phase… Rest if you need to. But don’t quit on the story you started.
