@JonSLatona I mean, this engine from Stanley's design was built by the Manning Wardle works in 1910 - but I don't know how many were built by the company.

Are their designs similar enough for that? If this theory is going off their builders alone, that's like saying that Gordon and Ryan are related, which they likely aren't.

Little Fun Fact: Stanley, Billy & Charlie are somehow related and are all from West Yorkshire, Stanley's from Kitson and Co. (If he is a Stewart and Lloyds Kitson 0-6-0ST) and Billy and Charlie are from Manning Wardle, quite surprised no one had talked about this before.

So I just had this idea, if Douglas was sent away back to the mainland and ended up being bought by the steelworks where Hurricane and Frankie work. How would he feel and what changes to his design would he get?
