But while there are heretical translations of the text, many (KJV, NKJV, ESV, several other highly-regarded ones) exist for different readers/occasions, NOT as different messages. KJV wouldn’t be my first choice for a child who has never read the Bible.

@Masato_Matrix For starters, 1 Kings 8:39 (KJV, but also any other legitimate version) has King Solomon pretty clearly state that God, and only God, truly knows the hearts of men, and will judge accordingly.
