@SquareSupport Yes I guess that’s our setup. Older terminal and a star printer. It’s worked for years.

Are you by chance using a Square Terminal and printing to an external receipt printer? If so, your current setup where the iPad is linked to Square Terminal (CT2) and the external printer handles customer receipts, the paper receipt won’t include the receipt number footer. That’s a limitation of this specific flow rather than something you can turn on in settings. The receipt number is still available in your Dashboard and on digital receipts, but it just isn’t printed on those CT2 external-printer receipts right now.

@SquareSupport our receipts recently changed and stopped including the footer with the receipt number. We aren’t finding a solution in the settings. Please advise. Thanks.

@SquareSupport I am away from restaurant now but I will Try Friday. However, we have been using Square for 12 years and are generally very effective at our own troubleshooting so I believe we may have some kind of bug.

@BluegrassChef Is this only showing on printed receipts? Open one of the affected payments in Transactions > select payment > View receipt and see if the receipt number shows on the digital receipt. It may be worth moving this to DM in case we need to file a bug for you! twitter.com/messages/compo…

@BluegrassChef Thanks for reaching out about this. This footer information is typically controlled in your Square Dashboard under Settings > Receipts > Receipt Options—please check that "Receipt Number" is enabled there.

@SquareSupport we are having an issue with two aspects. Card reader is not working but has power. Also order tickets are printing very short. Both happened after app update.

I spent 40 minutes grilling 3 lbs of organic meat that cost $30 This is better than what 99% of Americans eat, and for just a few dollars more you can cover your carbs & veggies It would cost > $150 if you bought it at a restaurant and the meat quality would be inferior Learn to Cook!

@calleymeans We are financially stable, but we also value living below our means and investing in our future, and as the cook and grocery shopper of the house, low cost meals are my specialty. I am a trained and experienced chef, and I’d be happy to help.

@calleymeans I am not a creator or popular by any means, but I am a chef with 25+ years experience and two children that were on track to develop early chronic illnesses related to diet and lifestyle. We are making the changes and prioritizing real food.

There is going be significant public health content about how Americans on SNAP budget can eat healthy + conveniently with a REAL food diet. We are also working on content resources for schools to improve meals (on $4.60 per meal budget). Who are the best creators to help? 👇

To assign to employees. This is probably a 70+ million dollar a year store and your store manager is intentionally cutting labor to look better as the zone store manager. Your customers are suffering so he can gain favor. However, James Flowers at this store is exemplary

@kroger another failure to provide the most basic customer service at Tates Creek in lexington, KY. 11:19 am on a Sunday and no employee to bag groceries. $120 receipt and providing your labor for you. Assistant manager also disgruntled for having 100 less hours available

@kroger 10:05 am Thursday 11/13/25. Big line, even more people behind me. One cashier, no bagger. Well over $1000 worth of groceries in line but the store manager said he can’t afford to keep a bagger clocked in. Pretty big lie for a store that probably does 60 million a year

Rupp Arena is QUIET This is underwhelming I was expecting a decent crowd as it’s said to be a top 10 venue in CBB NOT EVEN CLOSE to mid level Big Ten arenas

@kroger it’s getting ridiculous at Tates Creek Kroger in Lexington, KY that there are never baggers. Last 9 trips, $150 and up carts, bagged myself. Store manager says they can’t afford it? Pretty sure that store does in excess of 50 million dollars a year. Publix would never

Jews are trying so desperately to divide us, make this right against the left, black vs white, anything to deflect from who is actually at the root of our problems. This is text book divide and concur. We don’t need palantir and more doxing, we need to stop Jewish supremacy.
