𝙈𝙞́𝙡𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙞́𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨 After nearly a decade of dedicated service in the Faithful jersey, Ruairí McNamee has called time on his intercounty career. A product of Offaly’s development squads, Ruairí proudly represented the county at every level, always displaying the hallmark qualities of a top-class footballer with exceptional skill, incredible fitness, and remarkable accuracy off both feet, especially from dead balls. More than just a gifted baller, Ruairí set the standard for professionalism in our amateur game. He minded himself on and off the pitch and became a true role model for young footballers across the county. His commitment, discipline, and love for the game never wavered, and his presence in the dressing room and on the field will be sorely missed. On behalf of Offaly GAA, we express our deepest gratitude for the years of sacrifice, loyalty, and brilliance you have given in the green, white and gold.
