Mets fans seriously need to stop talking about retiring numbers and focus on the current team and players winning a World Series. It’s a decade since they last were there and 3 decades since they won.

@themikeragu @Bluntthinking Why can Europe and Asia still respond to emergencies with large pedestrian areas? It’s actually much easier for pedestrians to get out of the way than it is for bumper to bumper traffic on streets with parking on both sides.

The whole convo about free public parking didn’t exist prior to 2 months ago when the city dropped the ball on cleaning up snow/ice. The same people who “fight for the middle/lower class are literally fighting to price those exact people out of the city. Ironic.
