Please pray for my dog Brody. He’s had a sort of paralysis in his back legs that’s progressed very fast and he can’t walk now. I love him so much. I’m very worried about him. Thank you.

No one expected him to survive a year. Born with scoliosis, Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus and no knee caps. He survived a spinal tap at 4 months. He grew knee caps (one floats but that’s ok.) He learned to stand by watching the other dogs. He walks in his own wonky way with an extra row of teeth in the wrong places. barry became an international crime legend and feeds the kids who don’t eat so good. He is an expert on what is a sandwich and what is soup. He won the gold medal for the low jump in the Pawlympics. He’s got the moves like Jagger. He is the light in the dark darkness. He belongs to all of us. Happy birthday barry.

Happy 3rd Gotcha Day -versary to Kiefer Sutherland! @KieferPup was injured in an unwitnessed accident. His mom had just adopted him from the shelter. He was Paralyzed. She loved him enough to let him go and join the herd. Just as I got him to start walking, he had a stroke from a bone fragment we didn’t know about. He lost everything. Fast forward a year .. Kiefer stood up! His muscles started to rebound, but his ligaments did not, Both his hips dislocated. He came became my third Biped. My gloworm. .. and he is thriving with his freedom. Prezzies from fren Tom. 🧡

It is with a sad and broken heart then I have to tell you that I lost my Dobie Dobes to cancer yesterday. I am completely shattered and dysfunctional. He was the best boy, the perfect dog and best friend. There really are no words. It's unbearable pain. 😭💔🌈

During Hoobro’s college years, Cookie would often disappear for hours to his special spot. HooBro had left home and traveled more than 3,000 miles away to Pittsburgh for college. Every time I saw Cookie there - at his special spot, I understood how terribly he was missing his HooBro, his beloved duet partner. There’s a story behind Cookie’s choice of that special spot, one I’ve never shared in detail before. Tonight, I feel ready to tell it. Just a few days after Cookie and Muffin arrived at three months old, we discovered Cookie’s extraordinary love for singing. HooBro was only nine years old at the time. Every day, as HooBro practiced piano and violin, Cookie would sing alongside him with pure, heartfelt devotion. For the next eight years, Cookie faithfully sang through every one of HooBro’s practice sessions - until the day HooBro left for college. Because Cookie only ever sang to HooBro’s live music, and HooBro was the only one who played for him, I would often find Cookie quietly waiting in his special spot during those long years of absence. It was his gentle, wordless way of coping with the loneliness and the deep missing of the brother he had grown up singing with. How sweet my Angel Cookie was - with his tender soul and beautiful musical spirit. It took me a long time to write this post. I had to stop many times because my eyes would blur with tears. My sweetest singing Cookie, my heart, my love… your kindness and your unwavering love move me so deeply tonight. I miss you, my gentle boy. You're always in my heart no matter where we are.

Getting zoomies around the cat who by this point is shouting "what the actual fuck?!" Why are we now living with a deranged woolly muppet?" from the top of the bedroom curtains. Playing with his bottle teat so it explodes and soaks his face, the duvet and me with tepid milk Being thoroughly licked clean by foster mum Sizzle the dog Intent focus on munching through some important paperwork he's found on the coffee table. Constant peeing. Everywhere. Normal nappies don't work as he has boy sheep anatomy. Unhinged screaming during an important Teams meeting as he wants to be picked up and cuddled. Suddenly falling asleep (with his eyes open) so it looks like he's died and I have a heart attack... More to follow...

We couldn't get meds in her yesterday so I called the vet and brought her back in for a shot. Her new food arrived "Vetlife Gastrointestinal HF" by Famina. It's from Italy and fish based Hydrolyzed. She ate it like it was a steak dinner😊 I mixed it with rice 1/3

god my neighbor just called me and she's like... is this your chicken in our driveway... like who else has a chicken in this neighborhood yes it's my chicken... so i get over there and kylo hen is chilling in their driveway eating some specs and stuff and there's this actual crowd of people around her and i'm like... hi sorry mb let me get her... and oh my god... they're like do you need us to call someone?? should we get help?? how should we do this?? do you need a net? like bitch it's a chicken not a fucking komodo dragon. so i just... i was kind of joking around so i crouched down and patted my thighs and all the chickens are trained to come to me on sight because me food... so i got down there and went "here girl!! come here!!" and the chicken comes running over and this group of actual adult ass individuals were staring at me like i was the fucking pied piper... and i didn't know what to say..... so i just kind of walked back to my yard with the chicken following me and none of them moved or said a damn word and i think i literally just convinced them this chicken is trained like a dog...

Admin Post: Last night something happened that made my heart swell so big it almost hurt… in the very best way. ❤️ Back in the fall, sweet black Lab puppy Mars, a service dog prospect, spent a few precious weeks with us for some exposure training. He was only 5 months old — playful, curious, and a little unsure of the big city world. Whenever something new worried him, he’d quietly tuck himself just behind my wheelchair, peeking out from his safe spot while I gave him all the time he needed to feel brave. Last night, I brought baby Rottweiler Kenji (our big Moose) to his very first group class without Chesnyy. After class, the dogs got some joyful off-leash play time… and one of the staff brought Mars in to join. He entered the room a bit nervous — so many more dogs than he normally sees in the training room, so much energy. But the moment his eyes found me… he came straight to me. ❤️ Not bouncing wildly, but gently placing his front paws on my lap, covering my face in soft, trusting kisses. Then he stayed right there, pressed close, choosing me as his safe place in a room full of uncertainty. He could have gone to his breeder. He could have stayed with the staff who see him every day. But out of everyone in that room… he picked me. The girl in the wheelchair he’d only known for those few short weeks last fall. Even once he relaxed and started playing, he kept coming back to check in with me, like I was his anchor. I don’t know if there’s any deeper compliment a dog can give than saying with their whole heart, “You make me feel safe.” And as if that wasn’t enough to melt me completely… Kenji was an absolute superstar on his very first night in this class. The youngest dog there by far, he tackled targeting (even into a tricky plastic tote!), stayed mostly focused through all the distractions, redirected like a pro, stayed perfectly polite and quiet, and had a wonderful time playing with the group. A few folks even mistook our growing Moose for Chesnyy! It was great. My heart is still overflowing. Two special boys reminding me why we pour our hearts into this work — the quiet trust that lingers, the beautiful growth, and the pure love dogs give so freely. 🥹❤️

Ronnie the bull was living his best life until a mysterious object drifted into his arena. 😳 In a panic, he let out a wild hee-haw alarm that sounded more like a donkey. He practically alerted the whole neighborhood! Mama farmer came quickly, heart racing. “Ronald, what is it?!” Once she saw what it was, she was instantly relieved. All that drama for a balloon! 😂 🎈
