The only thing I've learned (except hours of charts) since my last posts is: there are no absolute truths, not even the truths we think we possess at a given moment. Questioning is fundamental, up to a point. Only hard work and pragmatism can pay off.

They say 95% of traders fail, and only those who persevere succeed. I guess I'm in the toughest phase of the psychological battle this business is wrangling. There are only two outcomes: meteoric success or simply failure. 6 years in this game, still there and working hard.

@BoVdAm_Trading And whole Unicorn structure has to be formed inside trading hours? Or, let’s say, sweep happened at 1:50, but displacement happened at 2:10 and by that confirmed our entry inside trading hours. So it can be taken as well.

@ZegnaMike Better to have clean swing points, but this is something that can be adjusted, and a remaining part regarding structure is subjective. But to answer your question, preferably filter entries with clean swing points yes.

@Stoiccapital A DD always has to be combined with a risk/trade to be considered and estimated

Imagine you are flipping a coin. 33% of the time you lose 1 33% of the time you win 3 33% you neither win nor lose anything. Would you play this game? I played this game during my last trial challenge. Attached you will find feedback on 2 challenges and the lessons I learned from them. drive.google.com/file/d/1lu8Ozc…

@BoVdAm_Trading Thanks! I’ll definitely check it. Also, have you tried to do the same for indices? $NQ, $ES? And, from what I heard, on forex pairs it’s better to put SL below liquidity sweep, not below BB itself, as it often stops you out.. Any thoughts on that?

- No HTF bias - No screenshot this time, but you'll find a lot here (backtest M1) : drive.google.com/file/d/1Cro72L… Rules are strict yes : 1. liquidity sweep 2. strong displacement (without any inside structure) 3. BMS + Breaker block aligned with FVG created during displacement Trade is canceled if price moves 3x the breaker size without retesting the breaker. Hope it answered your questions

@BoVdAm_Trading That's insane amount of work! GJ ! - Did consider any HTF BIAS? - Is there any screenshots/videos/live backtesting? 40 trades a year average...I would expect much more trades if you consider only a 5m structure without 1h POI and BIAS. You might have very strict entry rules?

Hi! Just depends on how you read it and where you start to trade during the month. You're right, starting from the top to the bottom, it's a 10% DD. BUT, in this example you were at +6, so the DD is "just" -4. Just statistical things, but what I note about this data is that you're just drived by series of trades. Sometimes you'll be in a good series, sometimes you won't. That's why I choose 0,5% risk / trade to minimize this.

@BoVdAm_Trading This seems to be the biggest DD from the data you've given, thats a -10% DD For example if someone was to buy a challenge at that "6", they'd blow the account with that unlucky losing period if they're risking 1% per trade. Correct me if I am wrong on reading the data.

Regardless of the strategy, the process is the same. We cannot afford to find an edge in the chaos of the markets without going through a process to define our personal framework. Without a process, we would just navigate from strategy to strategy. No strategy is perfect, but without a clearly defined strategy, we would get lost in the fog and hell in this industry. Trust the process.
