Trump's entire cabinet should be up for treason.

Any student of history will tell you this is an extremely dangerous moment. People like Trump who make wild threats to do insane homicidal things again and again are full of shit—until they aren’t. All the safeguards are gone. The generals have been removed. Our allies have been alienated. Congressional Republicans will follow Trump to the apocalypse. We really are on the razor’s edge of total disaster here and millions if not billions of lives hang in the balance.

The names of Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Rubio and Miller will live in perpetual infamy alongside those of the Nazi ringleaders of the Third Reich: Hitler, Goering, Himmler, Von Ribbentrop and Goebbels. The judgment of history will be merciless.

@ProudSocialist So any chance of Vance invoking the 25thAmendment is out of the window. He's complicit in any dastardly war crime against the people of Iran. What a hell we are living in under their corrupt government.

Trump an hour ago: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want it to happen but it probably will.” JD Vance right now: "Iran has to know we've got tools in our toolkit that we so far haven't decided to use. Trump can decide to use them, and he will if the Iranians don't change course." The President and the Vice President are both threatening to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran. This is the most dangerous moment in human history and it is all being caused by the United States and Israel.

I was walking into church yesterday when I saw Trumps disgusting, vulgar tweet. On Easter, I decided to not comment. But now the day after, I want friends around the world to know that I as an American was really embarrassed by that comment from my president. Forgive us.

Trump believes he is threatening Iran with destruction, but it is America that now stands in danger. If he attempts to eradicate Iranian civilization, the United States will no longer be viewed as a stabilizing force in the world, but as an agent of chaos—effectively ending our status as the world’s greatest superpower. This would upend our economy and shatter the global order. The process is already underway, yet we still have time to avert catastrophe if Trump finds the courage to pursue serious negotiations rather than reckless rage and destruction.

APPLEBAUM: Orbán now serves as Putin’s puppet in Europe. He blocks EU money to Ukraine, blocks sanctions on Russia, spreads Russian propaganda about Ukraine. No surprise that Russia supports him. The real surprise is that JD Vance is going to Hungary to endorse him.

Vance is there to support Orban, yes, but also to learn the ways of election interference and the manipulation by any means necessary of retaining power and turning democracy into autocracy. Russia is there in force and the US midterms are the next priority.

He denounces EU bureaucrats 'who have done everything they can to hold down the people of Hungary because they don't like the leader who has actually stood up for the people of Hungary.' Nothing about Orban's dismantling of democratic institutions, nothing about the subjugation of the media, nothing about the kleptocratic enrichment of his family and cronies. JD Vance is now telling Europe live at a press conference in Hungary they are in an energy crisis because they stopped buying Russian oil and gas. The Trump Administration work for Russia and Republicans still refuse to admit it.

I will admit it. I LOVED Trump unhinged when he was on the campaign trail. He was outspoken, politically incorrect and fearless in his brutality. And I loved it. In the wake of so much political correctness, it was refreshing to see a man who didn't care what people thought. He was a breath of fresh air. He wasn't a politician and that's what I loved about him. The problem is, our chickens have come home to roots. We said, "let Trump be Trump." Now here we are. On the brink of nuclear war. Pray for America. We did this to ourselves. And to the world.
