I’m not defending the joke or saying teens have no moral understanding. I’ve already said it’s wrong at any age. My point is about how accountability is applied differently based on age in general both legally and in practice. You’re turning that into me excusing the behavior, which I’m not. Saying it’s despicable at any age isn’t answering what I asked. Wrong ≠ equally accountable. Are you saying a minor and an adult carry the same level of responsibility, or not? Even the legal system separates minors from adults because accountability isn’t the same so why are you pretending it is?
