@Anne383280877 @griptmedia Indeed, it's causing mayhem in the UK, incentives for landlords to convert houses with long term rental agreements at a premium. Once one of these opens next door to you or on your street you might as well gather up your belongings and move out. I've seen it.

@Bob79257668 @griptmedia It is also based on the ridiculous policy objective of integration from day 1. How does this make sense when even Ministers believe up to 80% are economic migrants masquerading as people in need of international protection ?

@Niall_Boylan @roisinmurphy Employers and the libtard trade unions do this all the time, coercive control of workers, who most enthusiastically support certain 'values' or their employment is threatened by stealth. Hence the reason we don't see and hear the views of the majority of workers more.

I just listened to @roisinmurphy and it’s genuinely heartbreaking. She puts into words something many people feel but are afraid to say, that we’ve reached a point where critical thinking and real debate are being stifled, not always by rules, but by fear. When she talks about self censorship, or what I’d call the chilling effect, it hits home. That quiet pressure to hold back, to soften your views, or to say nothing at all. It’s not just coming from one place, it’s a mix of government, media, and social media, all shaping an environment where stepping outside the minority accepted line can come at a cost. Having worked in media for over 30 years, I’ve seen the shift myself. There were always lines, but in the last decade the change has been dramatic. The space for robust, honest debate feels narrower than ever. Those with nothing to lose, or those positioned on what’s presented as “the right side” of an argument, can speak freely. But when your livelihood depends on public perception, the stakes are very different. One wrong sentence, one unpopular opinion, and everything you’ve built can be on the line. Róisín Murphy is speaking for a lot of people, not just in media, but across the arts and beyond, who feel they’ve lost their voice, not because they have nothing to say, but because the risk of saying it has become too high.
Róisín Murphy@roisinmurphy

“It’s not the first time in history artists have faced oppression and it won’t be the last. We should support each other, come together and defend our shared space, our territory, the place where imagination can roam free. Because if they come for one of us they will eventually come for all. “ On Monday 26/4/26 I gave a speech at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster to help launch toolkit.freedominthearts.com Please follow/donate to @Freedom_in_Arts they are doing VITAL work for all of us.”

Next on the list of long term reliance of welfare by migrants should be the Roma community. If this government is serious about sorting this problem out, then this is a major cost burden on the Irish tax payer and are draining huge resources that can be spent in much better places It’s time to sort this insanity out once and for all
gript@griptmedia

In response to a question, Tánaiste Simon Harris said long-term reliance on welfare by migrants would be a “cause for concern”, adding that it's already the case that sanctions can apply where individuals refuse to engage with work:

@rtenews Why do the libtards think that Ireland will fare any differently in regard to mass immigration than Sweden, Germany, France, The UK ? where we can plainly see the problems it causes, problems that are acknowledged by these countries themselves. Suicidal empathy is destroying us.
