Did those leagues have 15 yard end zones, unlimited motion, 65 yard field width, 1 yard neutral zones, 3 downs, no fair catches, 12 players on the field? Oh also a championship trophy and professional football that’s been around for over 100 years?
Strange that you would reduce the CFL to such janky American start ups! Perhaps you and your time in the players union are part of the reason the league is in the current predicament! Ineptitude!

Bingo! The only plausible explanation for the changes is the CFL office chasing some US-oriented expansion or semi-merger. Compromising our Canadian game for such a speculative goal would be unsupportable, so they gave us sham explanations about game-play. But we have the data!

@CBCHamilton I agree with safe streets, but all these measures, no right turns, pedestrian delay, unsynced lights, it is causing chaos; drivers are now doing dangerous reckless things like cutting across parking lots, ignoring lights and signs etc. You're causing problems by fixing problems.

Why are these zoomed in? Numerous clips the ball leaves the zoom, can’t see any of the blocking/set up. So then no appreciation for the vision of the returns. And of course the cele’s are like 1/3 of the person who scored body.

@LWillson_82 @nielsonTSN1260 If you think you can get from the Linc to BMO Field in 45 minutes, you’re dreaming. Easy 90 minutes or longer by car w/Jays game on. GO Train only goes as far as Aldershot, near Burlington, so that’s another 20 minutes plus to the Hammer or the Mountain.
