Cool Cars…. And people could fix & maintain their cars…… Brakes, wires, Points, Condenser, Ignition Coil, Starter, Generator, Regulator, shocks, plugs, Muffler, fix flats… And Service Centers didn’t charge $150 an hour to repair cars. Then the government stepped in…. Catalytic converters, Omission controls requiring major computers… adding multiples to costs and efficiency…. Loaded Pontiac Bonneville in 58… $2,800 out the door….
