@WhiteOutFB NIL is about building a team not position, spend every budgeted dollar for offense, defense, special teams and backup players having a dollar amount, you pay enough to get a player but don’t exceed the value point because that affects how you build the rest of your team

Peter Bourque picked Virginia Tech and James Franklin. Any account telling you Penn State didn't really want him is rewriting history in real time. Penn State needed a quarterback in this class and Bourque was the best option on the board. He was the top uncommitted QB. Will Wood is next. The staff already made five in-home visits. The relationship is genuine. Missing Bourque is not the end of this story. Missing Bourque and Wood would be a different conversation entirely. We Are. 🦁

Word is that Virginia Tech may land top QB prospect Peter Bourque. This would be a HUGE grab for James Franklin & the Hokies. And definitely a "statement" move. But is it "necessary" as strictly a business decision? Lets break it down. VT currently has four QBs listed on the depth chart: 4 ⭐️ Ethan Grunkemeyer - So, seen as the starter. 4 ⭐️ Bryce Baker - Fr transfer from UNC, believed to be the #2. 3 ⭐️ Kelden Ryan - Fr, committed three years ago. 4 ⭐️ Troy Huhn - Fr, has been committed to Franklin for a long time & followed him to VT. Bourque supposedly looking for an NIL deal roughly around $1.5 million. That's quite an expense when you have a room full of extremely talented guys that have stuck with you, especially during such a dramatic time of change. Theyve believed in you. And now, by bringing in Bourque at that price, some of these guys will inherently take a backseat, if any seat to your new huge investment. I suspect Huhn & Ryan will leave, which is disappointing after being committed for so long. But this IS business. And James Franklin needs to put his program in the best position to win. The only question is, is it necessary?

@AlanAlthaus @CollegeFBonX Penn State has the most iconic helmet, occasionally they’ll put players’s number on them, but for the most part, the helmet like the uniform clean neat and all about the name on the front, never a name on the back or a participation sticker on the helmet

@CollegeFBonX Keep 3, 6, 8. Penn St is literally the worst helmet in all of CFB. OSU is much better with all the stickers, but the plain gray is right on PSU's level.

@CollegeFBonX As a Penn St alum, that’s the first helmet to go. Sorry, it’s atrocious. Looks like a helmet you would get a kid who wants to be a football player for Halloween, and so do our uniforms while I’m on the subject.
