They were actually talking about two different things here...
1. change the offside rule to move line (which will do NOTHING AT ALL for # of issues)
2. change REVIEW rule to include "buffer zone" that is the blue line itself

I brought it up on yesterdays show that the NHL should make the blue line a part of the offensive zone on entries. I learned that #LGRW Ken Daniels has been pushing for this. I asked Ken about it this morning. I’m signing to petition to implement the Ken Daniels rule.

Unfortunately, as Slate's Slow Burn series showed, the FBI's critical importance in the investigation has been downplayed in the minds of many. After all, Deep Throat was FBI's Deputy Director.

The Leafs need top prospects and picks. What if a Knies trade included Chicago's '26 1st pick? You'd have to consider it.

@JeffVeillette IMO, a factor in how the media assigns blame is the relative importance of sources/access points. From most to least information, the list is management, coaches and players. The allocation of criticism, from most to least, is players, then coaches, and then management.

No one's getting paid off and this isn't a coordinated effort, at least on the media's end. The whole ordeal is an engagement/audience magnet and it allows everyone to look tough and punch down with less pushback than usual, so everyone with a microphone is turning up the volume.

My new conspiracy theory is that the Leafs media is now getting paid off by MLSE so they can justify keeping Berube and/or Treliving by blaming it all on Nylander. The lack of response to the Matthews hit was their little gold ticket.

The #BlueJays continue to trim the spring field. C Brandon Valenzuela has been optioned to AAA and the following players have been assigned to MiLB camp:
Robert Brooks, Rafael Lantigua, Carlos Mendoza, Josh Rivera, Riley Tirotta
No surprises yet, though more decisions come soon
