Schools (understandably) get upset if basketball coaches don't enter their players for awards, especially Academic All-State. One of the requirements for WBCA awards, however, is that a coach is a WBCA member. Schools should therefore be paying for coach association membership. Many do, but quite a few don't. All coaches should be members regardless, as there are many benefits & the WBCA does great work. But schools should be supporting.

I really dont think 95% of society realizes how hard it is to play any sport at any level in college.
