'Reportedly joins The Batman Part 2'. Someone vaguely posting a picture of an actor does not mean an actor has been cast, let alone even implying that they're being considered. For all we know, it's their fancast. We see too much of this stuff these days. 3/4 of Christopher Dent 'casting reports' are just rumours with little to no credibility to the claims, which now makes everyone think that at least 4 or more actors have deliberately passed on the role when in all reality that belief is built on a whisper.

🚨 BREAKING: GOTHAM CASTING UPDATE: VIGGO MORTENSEN reportedly joins THE BATMAN: PART II Batman on Film founder Bill "Jett" Ramey has seemingly teased that Viggo Mortensen is in talks or has been cast in 'The Batman Part 2'. DC fans are now convinced the 'Lord of the Rings' legend is playing Christopher Dent, the father of fellow villain Harvey Dent aka Two-Face. The latest reports say Stellan Skarsgård was offered the role, but turned it down, suggesting that it was still up for grabs for somebody else. Filming has not begun yet.

Viggo would be incredible, but he's literally always just been a fancast in the community. There's been nothing remotely of substance to back any of this.
