I seriously need some help here. My neighbor just put up this massive metal fence right along our property line and I’m honestly pretty upset about it. It completely changed the whole feel of my driveway and now it looks like I’m pulling into some kind of industrial corridor. I had no idea this was even happening until the thing was already built. It feels like my space just got boxed in overnight. What on earth can I do in a situation like this???

Been there. So many times. I may be there again , but I really really want you to know this …. He is with you and there is a purpose. Seek him as hard as you can. Sit with him , he’s doing something and this feeling will flee, you are ok. Made me cry thinking of you sitting there I’m sorry I wish I could come sit with you. It’s so scary and lonely but HE is there in the midst.

I made it to work today with no panic attack. Please clap it’s been weeks, I work 1-2 days a week and I couldn’t even do that. It was terrible and isolating BUT GOD was working still. Teaching me in the anguish and tears… showing me how to trust him! The thing I can share that God has been slowly teaching me is that I don’t HAVE anxiety, I GET anxious and HE is bigger. If you’re ever in this vicious cycle like I’ve been in please try to remember that thoughts lie and the King of Kings does not. When he said to cast your cares on him he meant it. He really can overcome your scary thoughts and feelings regardless of the reason they happen (for me it’s hormonal and trauma based) He’s bigger than all of that, He really is. There is hope so trust Him, we are not hopeless and if you think no one can help you , Jesus can 💜 the worst that can happen is you die .. and if you’re a believer , to die is gain (you’re not gonna die from anxiety btw so unclench your jaw and breathe… it’s ok)

@mikeybigD @K2Campy @GigaBasedDad Christians are called to be humble and gracious. The pride comes off as arrogant and unloving which is in direct opposition to the message of Jesus.

@kindofmaybe @K2Campy @GigaBasedDad What it does is detract from your ability to spread the Gospel without people feeling the arrogance. Pride is sinful. Humility and love would serve you far better.

@GigaBasedDad P.s. it saddens me why so many comments seem prideful about the Catholic Church. If we celebrate Christ as Savior and believe in the Trinity and same doctrine why cant ppl just answer the question instead of seeming prideful. Read your Bible and seek to live a godly life.

@GigaBasedDad Raised evangelical, very pentecostal leaning and now non denominational. If they aren't preaching from The Word and simply maintain man made doctrine because of Church affiliation, im out.

@TheStaad That prayer of vengeance may not go the way you want it to. Kind of like praying for patience. I prefer a your will not mine kind of approach. God's will im God's time.

I kind of want to stop saying “Lord, have mercy” and start saying, “Lord, rain down your holy vengeance,” but I’m afraid I won’t know the enormity of what that petition would bring It terrifies me

Unpopular pastoral opinion: Losing the midweek gathering of the church and replacing it with “small groups” in homes on various nights has been a net negative for the fortification and mission of the church. There are positives, there are negatives. Overall, it’s been an L.

@AlwaysWrightDM @johncwright2001 The evidence is how it changes you and changes your heart. You may not hear him but he works in you and through you. Nothing is ever easy and we weren't promised easy. I'm human and my faith falters and can change but thankfully he's good even when im not. Keep at it. He's there.

I believe in God after 40 years of ardent lifelong atheism because I found evidence. Very much against my will and inclination, logic proved to me that the Christian worldview is coherent and atheism incoherent. So I experimentally prayed, demanding God show Himself He did

@AlwaysWrightDM @johncwright2001 Read and study the Bible. Pray. Ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Be persistent in your pursuit of our Savior. You may not see him or hear him but the evidence of his presence will start showing up everyday and it will be undeniable.

@johncwright2001 How did he show himself? I've earnestly prayed with an open heart and received no response. I would love to hear your evidence to learn what I apparently did wrong. Also, what do you think the likelihood would be of whatever sign you received being purely coincidental?

@nickimoraa I bathed all of my kids every night and sometimes during the day. Depends but at least once a day.

Can you guys pray for me I’ve been encountering a lot of panic attacks lately and I really try to control it but my nervous system doesn’t know the difference between going to the grocery store and being chased by a serial killer with a chainsaw. I wish God would just heal me so I could be semi normal like I used to be
