‼️ Rebuttal I note that many of the replies to this post have taken great offense at what they perceive to be some sort of approbation of the reprehensible US war against Iran. Well, here's what I have to say about that: I am very confident that most of the young men involved in this mission are upright and admirable, with no desire to slaughter the innocent. These particular soldiers specialize in these dangerous rescue operations. There is honor in such a thing, and I will not deny it. And they executed what they simply must have recognized to be a borderline suicide mission, and yet somehow managed to successfully rescue one downed pilot without getting themselves killed. I commend them for it. It was a conspicuously courageous act. And therefore I say they should all receive the Distinguished Flying Cross. Their leaders in the Pentagon should be court-martialed.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

I sat through the full 8 minutes, waiting for any actual evidence, any proof for the claim of 30,000 killed in Iran in a few days and there was nothing, just bs.
