Man, chickens really are just one of the best ratios of work to calories. Open up the coop door, let them eat bugs, and they create perfect food. Truly remarkable.
When my son's lips turned blue, my wife and I had to pause and ask ourselves: can we afford the ambulance?
No Kansas family should ever have that conversation.

@BobbyCannon@IGN Do you think there is just one reviewer working at IGN? The game was lacking many basic things. It's good they are being fixed now
Their target audience might just be more casual. Or they value story and rpg elements more. 6/10 was a valid rating although I would rate it higher.
The fact that IGN gave Crimson Desert a 6 and Marathon a 9 yet 6 times more gamers choose to play the low scoring game than the one they called "Amazing" shows how out of touch with real gamers these "journalists" are
Same guys that have historically promoted Sony games btw 😬
@cptmanzino@IGN They suck at rating games. 9 - Marathon? seriously? 6 - Crimson Desert, because they suck at gaming, lol. Crimson Desert is literally a master piece of sandbox gaming.
@BobbyCannon@IGN "However, amid the delight that comes with each new quality-of-life change, there is a small subset of players who believe Crimson Desert is getting too easy."
People like you are to emotional to handle social media holy fuck they are just reporting on the opinions of some fans.
You have to build your environment (home) for productivity. I'm way more productive than being in an office but you have to be built for it. My whole life is built around productivity.
Nothing is less productive than driving (or flying) into an office, talking to co-workers not about work, being constantly interrupted by co-workers because it easer to chat than to think. It's just not productive.
However in my home office, I can focus, think about the problem, take a walk in the woods, solve the problem, come back and implement a very epic solution. No one can touch my productivity. However, as I'm constantly told, I am the exception...
I’m not a “work from home” guy by any means. But I’ve done it a bit lately and it’s certainly nice to see my family during the day. I can see why it’s so popular.
But, and it’s a big but, my productivity is unquestionably lower. There’s just no substitute for the office.
Crimson Desert is growing. Weekend surge is still strong.
Asmongold says if a game isn't good in the first 10 minutes, it's probably a bad game.
But there are a few games that reveal their "goodness" later.
And if you have the numbers, it's hard to argue.
@GermanStrands I think the story is perfect, just enough and let me fill in the rest. This game has become the best game I have ever played. Better than Witcher 3, BOTW, Skyrim.
Pearl Abyss CEO addresses ‘disappointment’ in Crimson Desert’s story:
“I partially empathize with the disappointment users feel regarding the story. I believe it would have been better if we could have handled it better…The development team tried to fill in the gaps in the remaining time, but ultimately, we focused on strengthening the gameplay, which is what we do best."

CRIMSON DESERT HOT TAKE:
For gliding they should just remove Stamina all together. Gliding is fantastic in this game but the stamina makes moving around the world slightly annoying.
I know it won’t happen but they should consider it 💭
@WylderZak Same, people say there is no story. I say there is just enough story. The rest I fill in. It's awesome. Best game I've ever played... yes even better than BOTW. And I'm a huge zelda fan.
We are grateful to share #CrimsonDesert has sold through 3 million copies worldwide. To everyone who has stepped into Pywel and shared this journey with us, thank you.

I cannot answer for the team, but if it was my repo, I would want small concise, minimal changes, *unless* the larger change is absolutely required. It needs to stay consistent with the design and such.
The changes are more than I am willing to look at so I cannot say that is what is happening in this PR. Even in my corporate team, I push back on large changes unless the dev can sit down and explain every line in every file and why the large change was necessary.
@CrimsonDesert_ I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone is using AI, everyone is going to use AI, for prototyping even for the product. It's a fact of life at this point.
We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert.
During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction.
Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it.
We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency.
We sincerely apologize for these oversights.
We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.
