@Asteroid4914 @HarrisLue I honestly dont understand why we can’t have both. If teams and sponsors want to put the number in the middle go for it if they want to put it forward go for it. Some look best in the middle some look best forward depends on the scheme

@BlueInNC16 @MattBrownEP Yea I get that. I think the gap between Atlantic (like mercyhurst) and the top teams has grown significantly but at the same time, the gap between D3 and D1 and D3 and ACHA has shrunk. Fact is kids who can play D1 will choose D3 over a school like Mercyhurst

@BobbyCarter73 @MattBrownEP Eh. A good bit of that D1 talent out there isn’t playing college hockey regardless. They’re playing high level juniors and advancing to the pros. Michigan played one of the worst D1 teams and won 11-1 and 7-0 this year. We played the 3rd place team in that league, 4-2 and 10-2

(whispers) mens'a and women's D1 hockey should not even be an NCAA sport. if any sport should breakaway from the NCAA and govern itself, it isn't soccer, or football, or anything else. It should be hockey

@Chens89 @MattBrownEP There are bad team for sure (Atlantic), but then there are the top D3 teams that can beat a lot of D1 teams plus *some* ACHA teams that are competitive. Actually, I’d argue there are a lot of D1 talent that choose to go ACHA or D3 because there aren’t enough D1 teams

I'll be straight with you. Cultural gimmicks are one dimensional, imagine if Rhea Ripley centered her entire gimmick around being Australian. Big Boot is a cool move, a nice move to incorporate into a lead up to a finisher but it lacks luster as a finisher. Also the look, beard and long dark hair is essentially the same generic tough guy wrestler look that the majority of the roster has. (Roman, Priest, Rollins, Fin, etc, etc) It's over-used, played out, and lacks originality. You need to set yourself apart more (the majority of the roster needs to). The story line with the tactical and methodic sabotage of targeting strong potential contenders worked against you. It was basically a repackaged version of Triple H's cerebral assassin character arc. Kind of made the character feel afraid of other wrestlers as opponents, which contradicts your physical appearance. Cowardice & cheating, though a heel angle, works better for smaller guys. You have all the solid foundation parts that you need. It's just the creative side of things that need work.

It is astounding how pretty much the entire left have given up on climate change as an issue. It was omnipresent for ages, and now it barely features at all in leftist discourse. Sort of makes you wonder if their commitment to it was ever real.
