Definitely my last time using @Hertz dollar thrifty. Nothing like combining 3 companies and having no one at the counter. Watching every other rental car company hand out keys while we wait in an hour long line.

AMC crushed it at the box office this weekend. Our busiest of the year in 2024 so far, with 3.8 million guests at our U.S. theatres. Friday was the single busiest day of ‘24. That record lasted only one day, Saturday beat it. Only fools believe that movie theatres are dead.

adam starts speaking from the heart... this company was dealt a rough blow in 2020. FOUR years later, the box office is still down from pre-covid. Lot of companies who failed and had to go into bankruptcy court or even stopped being in business. That did NOT happen to $amc. Through it all AMC has remained the strongest player in the industry. I'd love to tell you some of that credit goes to the board and the management who made wise decisions and took bold actions. Far more important than anything the board did, or I did, is what you all did. Retail investors rallied around AMC. Embraced AMC. Saved AMC. I have enormous respect for our shareholder base. I wanted to embrace you and communicate with you. Most of my communications on twitter are aimed at our shareholders. It has been the honor of a lifetime. This is my fifth company, I've run, but it has been the honor of a lifetime to work with you to save AMC. One of the things that has driven us to succeed and not throw in the towel has been the passion and enthusiasm of our shareholder base. I'd like to thank YOU for giving us the energy and support to sustain this company. I personally have lost tens of millions on the shares decline. I have not sold since jan 22 and have no plans to sell any time soon. I ride with you because you've ridden with us. I look forward to a time when the company is back and the industry is back. @RobertKennedyJr Hi @RobertKennedyJr they are wrongly mistreating @TheRoaringKitty for doing nothing wrong. All is he did was show his position in $GME. Everyone on @CNBC talks about their buys all the time. If you look into and help, I think would be very interesting :)
