This mom’s daughter was genuinely disturbed by a song from 1978… She pulled up a music video of “Hot Child in the City” from 1978 and her daughter was immediately horrified.
The poor girl sat there in disbelief while her mom laughed the entire time. Between the lyrics and the overall vibe, she was genuinely creeped out and ready to shut it off.
It’s crazy how songs people used to just sing along to back in the day sounds so off now. We really weren’t paying attention to half the stuff we were listening to.
Have you ever shown your kids an old song and watched them have a full meltdown over the lyrics?

Chaos erupted after the Benjamin E. Mays High School graduation on Georgia Tech’s campus Thursday as a massive fight broke out during what should have been a proud celebration.
Videos of the brawl are now spreading across social media, showing disorder unfolding in front of students, families, and staff.
Moments meant to honor achievement and hard work should never turn into scenes like this.
What should have been remembered as a milestone is now making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
My daughter's majority white high school's graduation the day before yesterday was peaceful. It is a public high school...with a large graduating class, it was also held on a college campus. They started it off with the National Anthem and a prayer. ZERO fights broke out. There was no twerking... whatsoever. No back flips or gettin jiggy wid it. It was nice and peaceful ....as it should be.

My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery.
While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation.
She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more.
We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

Meteorologist Chris Martz used the North American Drought Atlas (built from tree-ring data) to track Great Plains drought across the past 1,500 years. It shows severe drought regularly hit the plains long before industrial CO2. The 1818 to 1825 drought stands out. So too does the 1855 to 1865 Civil War drought. The little mentioned 1950s drought is also clear, which followed the devastating Dust Bowl. Further back, the worst known plains drought came during the Medieval Warm Period. It lasted around 400 years with only brief breaks. That dwarfs anything post-1950. Today's droughts can of course damage farms and local communities, but they are far from unprecedented, and are not proof of a CO2 driven crisis. The Great Plains have always been drought-prone. The 1,500 year record destroys The Narrative.
