@Lfc__Vision Question could be asked if its club briefing to make it look like something is happening to quell fan grumbling. It's probably true to maintain credibility but not worth getting hopes up for.
[🟢] NEW: Liverpool admire Wirtz and have been in touch with his camp as they consider options to bolster their creativity.
Their interest comes with the expectation that they think he will remain in Germany. Should that change, they would pitch for the player.

@Tactical_Times Assume it was Madrid's wish to not pay a fee and was communicated as such. One less obstacle to overcome by cutting the club out but annoyingly, TAA and his entourage know that there isn't any funds coming to LFC to try and mitigate the issue which leads to more questions.
Alexis Mac Allister signed a contract with Brighton in October 2022 and signed for Liverpool via a release clause in June 2023.
Why this wasn't an option for Trent I have no idea. He could have had a higher salary and got his move without leaving a bad taste with LFC supporters. I suppose we will never know.
Winning the league would still be good for #LFC given expectations at start of the season but perform like that for the remaining games and it could be very tense or even hugely embarrassing.
Isak 2-0. Brilliant finish. Poor marking again from Liverpool but what a reaction. No hesitation. Unstoppable. Joy unconstrained in the Newcastle end. Hugging, twirling scarves, screaming with joy, phenomenal support who have waited so long. Still 35 mins to negotiate. #NUFC
Hope the guys making this thing are recording a bunch of increasingly ominous audio logs about the process onto individual USB sticks and scattering them around the facility
This idea of an ‘opportunistic’ signing only relates to Liverpool. If the manager wants an area improving, you pay a premium and make sure he’s backed — we won’t do it though because we need every penny in the pot for the contracts. We should be able to do both but we won’t.#LFC
Honestly, he seems like a nice enough lad but what was the point in signing Chiesa if he can't start against Accrington Stanley.
Whole thing just reeks of Arthur 2.0 at this point. #lfc
@Corballyred If they let them go for free, when they're performing like they are, will be final nail after lack of business in summer. Hughes would show himself as a puppet yes man because no one in their right mind would see them walk out the door when it's hard enough getting them in.
Van Dijk "Liverpool are yet to offer me a new contract"
Salah " No at the club has talked to me about a new contract, so I'm to say it's my last season"
Alisson "I'm just 31, I'm young for a keeper, I'm really happy at Liverpool, i want to make a new contract here"
Outrageous, it's like the club is trying to force all 3 out.
We need #FSGOUT before any of them leave.
They are the single biggest problem stopping us winning major trophies now.

@AnfieldSector Say the contracts get done, gut feeling is that will get trotted out as excuse for reduced spending in Jan/next Summer when it doesn't bother other clubs.
Scouting should be better at not just having one target only and not based on 'opportunistic' for a club like LFC.
I'm giving them leeway this summer because of situational circumstances.
The new structure didn't start until June 1st & had Zubimendi not changed his mind would've been a very good summer...
BUT, they have no excuses left now, contracts and big signings only. ⌛️⏳
@_pauljoyce Did club know this before all the tedious back and forth for a keeper who wouldn't be joining until next year as a minimum when there's other areas that fans would expect to be focused on such as CDM when even the current CDM acknowledged the club should get someone?
Alisson reveals he rejected interest from Saudi Arabia this summer and plans to stay at Liverpool for many years to come.
Also, he says Liverpool told him of their interest in Giorgi Mamardashvili and believes he would be a good signing.

@Jay82_LFC Excuses that get trot out are insulting fans intelligence.
"No one who can improve squad" - what happens when squad members get injured? Recent history suggests they consider people have short memories and they're playing the PR game.
Serious questions need to be asked of FSG & Edwards. Increased ticket prices last season, CL footy again and £60m plus sales this summer yet no signings nor contract extensions.
We’re spending nowhere near enough on the playing squad & leave ourselves short EVERY season. #LFC
