Trump: LeBron may be a racist. He has a point: 1. 2018: Said as a teen he wanted “nothing to do with white people.” 2. 2022: Called Boston fans “racist as f***” as a group. 3. 2021: Posted a photo of the white officer with a caption “YOU’RE NEXT”

@MHTruthUltra Bear arms means possessing them, not using them when you’re being lawfully detained.

The mother of Corey Ruiz’s daughter remembered him as a kind, funny poet, artist and lyricist. Corey was killed just two blocks from their home and their daughter’s school. She said their daughter will now pass the memorial marking where her father was killed by people the community is supposed to trust and call for help. She asked people to stop focusing on Corey’s past and look at what happened to him. 📸: @AndrewMercado

Every event in Madison is being cancelled due to protests. Cancelling a weekend festival probably costs local businesses millions. They're cancelling concerts on the square and terrace, which fundraise for the local arts. They cancelled the grand opening of the boondoggle that is the city market (20 years in the works, BTW). They're bloxk roads in random areas, presumably, until their demands are met. Their demands? They want the officer arrested now. They don't want to wait for the investigation. Some carry signs saying "bad cops should be shot too." Sounds like a lynch mob to me. Businesses near where the incident occurred are all local and some are being blocked. St. Vincents is a charitable thrift store and protestors won't let people in. A lot of people worry about what will happen this weekend, with Ben Crump now involved to strir the pot, and Francesca Hong calling for abolishment of police and asserting it was an execution. People are coming from other cities now. Keep in mind, it's a pain in the ass to get around willy street and downtown on a good day. Suicidal empathy, and a bunch of Instagram SJWs are an expensive combination for this city, especially over a career criminal, who we shouldn't forget had a warrant for charges related to assault on an officer before this incident.

TONIGHT: For the third night in a row, Madison has taken the streets in pursuit of justice for Corey Ruiz, executed in broad daylight by Madison police officer Kiel Peterson. The people say: Indict, convict, send that killer cop to jail! End the war on Black America!

Typical black cultural dysfunction. If the family knew he needed mental health treatment, why didn’t they step in to get him those services? When will the media ask them this? Stop with the fake tears. When will the media ask them this question? This is a money grab now.

Corey Ruiz's sister addresses his lengthy criminal history after he was shot and killed by Madison police during a struggle while armed with a knife: "His criminal record tells a tale of trauma, of pain, of struggle. It does not define who my brother was...I need somebody to help me understand why they felt it was ok to execute my brother based on no facts at all."

A powerful moment unfolded during the vigil for Corey Ruiz when a young Black man called a boy named Dwayne to the front of the crowd. After a few moments, Dwayne's mother shared that his father, Dwayne Collins Jr., was shot and killed in 2022. The speaker told the child he mattered, that the community was standing together for him, and that he should always walk with his head held high. He vowed they would not allow another generation to be "taken away" or "drowned in the system," telling Dwayne that the entire community would help build him up because that's the future he deserves. 📸: @AndrewMercado
