Edinburgh Rugby can today confirm that Hamish Watson has joined Gallagher PREM side Leicester Tigers on a short-term loan deal with immediate effect.   The agreement, which runs until the end of April, is designed to provide the Scotland international with further playing opportunities through a run of consistent fixtures.

Making a big fuss over games 3 weeks in a row in 6N is so pathetic. This and more is done every November and by every first choice club player without comment (and don't tell me Wales or Italy is tougher than a Top 14 game). Most Tier 1 international players (especially URC ones) are in fact incredibly pampered and well rested by compared to Tier 2 internationals at pro clubs who don't get rests. Niniashvili this weekend plays his 18th game of last 20 weeks for example. Playing 3 weeks in a row is barely even noteworthy at all. If anything it was the having two fallow weeks in the middle of 6N before that was a bit strange and unnecessary.
