One thing that's particularly upsetting to me is a' lot of science fiction revolves around guns solving problems. We live in a world where most normal people have no access to firearms. It's the worst option to solve problems ever. We need more sci-fi about civilians guys!

I’ll be crucified if I say mosquitoes because a few are disease vectors BUT every single one of them also eats plants. males do not drink blood. in fact many species like the ones in the genus Toxorhynchites don’t drink blood at all. some do eat other mosquitoes though

Even in a miracle scenario where Biden doesn't get replaced and somehow beats Trump it's pretty obvious Trump is gonna try to steal this election too, likely in an even more brazen fashion since the Supreme Court gave him the green light. I don't see a scenario where we aren't fucked.

When I see the supreme court making the president king and then dismissing nearly every gun rights case that goes across their desk.
