Parking at The Mater is a joke. Jack is a wheelchair user & not a single disabled space to be found. I thought parking at Crumlin was bad. This is a nightmare, I’m queueing for the car park 🅿️which says full & will cost an arm & a leg! Infuriating. @CarrollJennifer @MaterTrauma

🤯 Remember the 14 steps and ramp at Deer Park in Dublin that ended up costing €753,000? It’s been revealed this morning that this project went HALF A MILLION euros over budget! You couldn’t make this up. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are serial wasters of public money.

At today’s Social Democrats AV room presentations Access For All was represented by Kayleigh who spoke on how hard life is becoming in this cost of living crisis. Afterwards we went into the dail to hear leaders questions only to be told no additional support’s will be made available in this Dail year. Naas Community Gardaí spotted two cars parked in a disabled parking bay - a space that’s very much not for “just a minute”. 🚗 One car was unattended 🧍‍♂️ One was “waiting for a friend” Both were issued a €150 fine. Park smart and keep those spaces free for those who need them.

MacEntee has a lot to answer for during her term as MOJ she admitted that in 2023 out of 7,300 deportation orders issued only 89 people actually self deported from the country. In my opinion as soon as someone receives a deportation order all social welfare payments should be shut down as well as medical cards and anything the government supplies as well as freezing any bank accounts the person has, it is very simple cut off the money, and deport them.

Got a letter saying my Disability Allowance is being stopped because my husband and I earn less than €80 over the weekly threshold, so I no longer qualify. Happy Wednesday.
