@orsoloved To be fair, both are good and have objectively have a good conclusion. Id say both are top tier in there era as far as a complete narrative goes. If I ever had to recommend anime to a new comer, it is usually those 2 to start.

People prefer FMAB to AoT cause it’s simple enough to understand so they claim that it’s “better”… FMaB is a decent story but it barely challenges you beyond the safe questions and answers… AoT challenges to the point it can make people uncomfortable and they hate that feeling
