The Steam page is complete. The Free Demo is in the chamber. The reveal trailer gets finished tomorrow. This project was meant to be revealed back in January. It's an immense relief to finally build the marketing material so we can raise the curtain on Windzen's fifth game.

An 18-year-old developer says his joke Steam game made $1.38 million in sales, but he only ended up with around $2,000. He released “This Game Costs $200” as a joke and never expected people to actually buy, it sold 6,717 copies. But almost every buyer refunded the game. 6,707 copies were refunded, leaving just 10 actual sales, after refunds and Steam’s revenue cut, Major says he received only around $2,045. He also said most of the purchases came from China.

@hayasaka_aryan I'll never watch these movies, but I don't think I've ever seen clips of these ugly characters with the masks on actually being Spider-Man, or even being heroes generally. Just seems to be constant whiny melodrama against a series of incomprehensible hideous tie-dye backdrops.

I suspect this isn't strictly a progressive thing, it just seems to be progressives in front of the cameras whining 100% of the time that gives that impression.

This made me laugh hard. Demonstrates what I've said for years. Once these young progressives squirm into a AAA studio they think they've made it, that they're on top, that there's no one to answer to and the difficult part is behind them. This delusional hubris is universal.

Bethesda union members are protesting after being laid off and it's hilarious how out of touch they are >"we make great games!" >"we make games players love!" >"we make games that define generations!" They're even holding signs that say "PLAYERS DESERVE BETTER" and it's like, where was that energy the entire time that corrupt AAA has been taking advantage of gamers by putting out buggy, overpriced, modern audience slop? They were radio silent, but now that they got laid off they're pretending to care about the players😂

Mega Man Legends 2. Technologically and mechanically superior in every conceivable aspect, but what the game has you doing with and inside of those improvements is a big step down from what made the first game unique.

They should have made a cool action movie about a badass anti-hero killing vampires with swords. Activist writers were so determined to pretend this is rocket science that an entire project is now floating dead in the water that should have been the world's easiest slam dunk.

Reminder: id Software somehow got hit with a massive layoff wave while Microsoft hasn't touched 343 or even slapped them on the wrist after fifteen years of gross mishandling of their flagship system-seller franchise.

The simple answer is that like many you can't read particularly well. The word "after" is not the word "in". Microsoft is laying off thousands and ditching entire studios. Two weeks ago. Yesterday. Right now. Not in 2020, not 2023, not last year, Now, and 343 is unaffected.
