My name is Jamie. I’m a Bible believing Christian who enjoys sharing biblical truth and silly jokes. I teach a Bible Study class at my local church.

I have taken down my post about Steve Lawson speaking at the Contending For The Faith Conference. @Protestia 's reporting of Steve being listed as a speaker being the result of "an internal misunderstanding that led them to assume he would agree" is still puzzling to me. Steve was not merely listed as a speaker, but there was also a page dedicated to him and a detailed description of his sessions. The topic of "How To Prepare A Sermon" is exactly the kind of thing Steve would be expected to address - screenshot attached. This was all posted before Steve accepted their invitation? This was(is) a real conference hosted by a real church advertised on a legitimate website that was open to the public for viewing and registration. The natural assumption is that Steve was a scheduled speaker. I did not find this on my own, it was sent to me by multiple people. I have spoken at my share of conferences. Some small, some large, some in between over a period of 20+ years. I have never been listed as a speaker for any conference on any website before I gave my acceptance to speak. No one that I know has had this happen to him either. Is it possible this could happen? Sure. Likely? No. Also attached is a screenshot of the same conference from last year, 2025. I've run this through two different AI engines to see if this is a legitimate post or if it bears any evidence of being either photoshopped or AI generated. Both came back saying that this is a real advertisement for a real conference. It bears the typical social media characteristics for the host church's social media posts - see attached. I cannot find any videos from this conference featuring Lawson. But it certainly appears he was scheduled to preach at it. The post was made September 19, 2025, about the conference scheduled for October 24-25, 2025. So, are we to believe that the same church hosting the same conference made the same mistake about the same person 2 years in a row? Something is not adding up. I did not make my post with any animus towards Steve at all. For any of you who have watched my videos on false teachers, I do not have any animus towards the likes of Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland. Though I hate what these men do, I do not hate them. I have made many, many direct personal please to them to come to a place of genuine faith and genuine repentance. If I harbor no ill will towards Hinn, Copeland, Duplantis, etc., why would I for Steve? Though there was no reason to think this was not legitimate, and others did as well, I sincerely apologize for posting about this conference. The hosting church and conference organizers should explain how this happened - and especially the post from last year. I have a high view of what true repentance looks like because the Bible does. Real repentance bears real, tangible fruit. I have and continue to pray for Steve. There is much more that I know and could say about this situation in general (not related to the conference specifically), but I will leave it at that for now. As John MacArthur has famously and rightly said, time and truth go hand in hand.

Calvinsts drool of this man and attack Catholic priests who take vows of poverty celibacy and obedience

Don’t go to therapy. Fix your diet and get some exercise. Spend more time outdoors. You’ll feel infinitely better after a week than you would after 10 years of therapy.

Fox News star Guy Benson welcomes baby girl trib.al/9KekLur

What’s an opinion you have that would get you roasted in the replies? 👀

Benson is an incisive pundit. But there is nothing conservative about deliberately creating motherless children. I pray Benson and those like him on the Right would consider what they are telling the world about how unnecessary they believe mothers (or if we’re talking about two women, fathers) are to the needs of children. Because that is what they’re declaring when they create these children through the surrogacy process. That mothers and fathers serve no specific purpose.
