As the Vice President of the People’s Republic of China departs Nairobi for the next leg of his Africa tour, I was honored to see him off at JKIA this morning. This four-day state visit hosted by @WilliamsRuto has been a powerful endorsement of Kenya’s strategic partnership with China~a significant boost for our economy, including tourism and wildlife sectors. Choosing Kenya as his first stop on this continental tour is a profound endorsement of Kenya as a top-tier global destination. China remains a top source market for our tourism sector, and this visit reaffirms our commitment to welcoming more Chinese friends to experience the magic of our wilderness. Kenya and China are charting a new path in Sustainable Tourism and Wildlife Conservation. It was our pleasure to represent Kenyan musical heritage at the Kenya-Irish Music Symposium, hosted by @IrlEmbKenya and @ketebul_music at the Kenya National Theatre. Discovering the similarities and differences in musical contexts between the two countries was inspirational.
