Yeah, we need three exposures to the antigen and variants like BA.3.2, and its impact on kids proves that. If they have had three shots, then variants like BA.3.2 aren't an issue, even when the antigen doesn't match, because of B cell maturation and immune imprinting. Currently, we only do one or two shots, which isn't enough. And I'm not sure mRNA can meet the demand, but we know that Nuvaxovid can. So, BA.3.2 creates an argument supporting pediatric Novavax and kids receiving a full series as part of the routine pediatric vaccine schedule.

BA.3.2 is actually going to be a really important variant. When I am done with the push I am about to go for.... Everyone will agree that BA.3.2 is actually the most important variant.
